Carolyn
worked as a Primary (Elementary) teacher and a lay leader in the
CityLife Church, Melbourne,
Australia She moved into a staff position with CityLife in 1982
ministering in administration, teaching and missions before taking
up the role of Coordinator of Children's ministries. In 1992 she
commenced as an itinerant minister working closely with Sue and CCM
in the children's ministry and training programs. With a desire to
communicate the importance of children in the church and community,
and training children's workers, she launched the National Ministry
to Children Seminar in 1990, which continues today. Carolyn has a
heart for children of all ages and cross-cultural ministry in
particular having ministered at length in Thailand and teaching at
the
Thailand Bible Seminary. Reached as a
child herself, she has a large vision for children coming into their
potential as relevant and active participants in the church today.
Carolyn is the founding director of Southern Cross Kids' Camps,
which brings a message of hope to child victims of abuse and
neglect. CityLife Church provides her spiritual covering.
